Amanda Cheung
Amanda has been playing the guzheng for eight years, the pipa for six years, and the cello for five years. She currently attends Klein High School and is a cellist in the school orchestra. In 2009 and 2011, Amanda won the Excellent and Outstanding Player Awards in her school district solo and ensemble competition; in addition, she was named to the Houston Young Artist Concert (HYAC) for her solo and ensemble performances on guzheng. She performs at Asian festivals, charity events, retirement homes, and other concerts for numerous occasions.
